Motorbike riders have been advised that they need to keep oil levels on their vehicles under control if they are to avoid breakdowns in the future, it has been claimed.
This message comes from vehicle care company Comma, which is running National Oil Check Day on Friday July 25th in an effort to get drivers to think about their engines.
By doing so, it could be that motorbike riders find that they save on their motorbike insurance policies, as companies may charge less to people who have proved themselves to be responsible motorists.
Mike Bewsey from Comma commented on the risks involved for drivers who do not look after their vehicles in such a manner.
"By the time the oil light illuminates on your dashboard, you may only have a handful of miles before serious and expensive damage is caused to your engine," commented the official.
