A drink driver has been sentenced with two months in jail, after he rode past police on a stolen motorbike without a crash helmet on.
Police were travelling towards Westwoodside in North Lincolnshire, when they spotted him coming in the opposite direction.
Adam Chorlton was stopped and arrested on suspension of drink driving. Chorlton was later found to have 65 mcgs of alcohol in his breath, the legal limit is 35mcgs.
Chorlton, (23) of Princess Drive, Stainforth, admitted charges of driving a taken vehicle, drink driving, no bike insurance and driving not in accordance with a licence.
As well as his jail time, Chorlton was ordered to receive 12 months supervision and told to attend an alcohol treatment programme for nine months.
The bench also banned him from driving for 18 months, but said this could be reduced by four months if he completes a drink driver’s programme. In addition, he was told to pay £90 costs.
