A training site aimed at teaching young people motorbike and scooter skills is being planned in Spilsby.
A report said two men are behind the project and they are hoping to develop an old airfield to create a training course.
One of the men, Peter McDowell, who operated a motorbike training site in Derbyshire, was quoted as saying site was subject to planning permission, but would have noise and time restrictions in place.
He described the proposed project as a “training facility where people can learn off and on-road skills.”
He added that if they were given permission they would be fully insured and ensure that the site was open at the right time and avoid noise nuisance.
Mr McDowell also explained that the site would keep kids off the streets and prepare them for motorbike licence tests.
Nuisance biking among youngsters is a growing problem and has been an issue the police have been trying to tackle.
Many of those found foul of the law had neither bike insurance nor licence.
While many where unsure whether they needed an insurance cover or a licence to ride a mini bike or moto, police reminded them they would need those for any vehicle that’s engine-propelled.
