There are three different levels of motorcycle insurance cover available to the customer; third party, third party: fire and theft and fully comprehensive. The minimum level of cover required by law is third party, which covers any damage to another road user’s vehicle or injury to them. This cover does not insure the rider for damage, loss or theft to their bike and property.
Third party: fire and theft offers the same protection as third party but also includes compensation for any damage to your bike due to fire or theft.
Fully comprehensive insurance means you are covered for third party damage, fire and theft as well as accidental damage. With fully comprehensive cover it does not matter who is to blame for the accident, you are still covered. Some policies will cover your helmet and leathers, if this is something you want included ask Only Insurance when you purchase your policy, you must also do this to be insured for pillion passengers.
