Most women drivers have voted to confirm that they would really like to see women-only garages, because a majority of females often feel patronised or intimidated when taking their vehicle to male-dominated garages.

Research from a leading women car insurance provider has found that a considerable amount of women would prefer to see women-only garages. This also applies when purchasing a new car, where the majority of women said that they feel uncomfortable and would desire to purchase a new vehicle from a saleswoman and not by a man.

Studies show that women between ages of 19 to 25 are least confident when taking their vehicle to a garage whereas those aged 55 or more were found to be the most assured.
