Car insurance companies directly aimed at ladies has grown popular within the last few years, the reason women get a better deal is due to statics showing they make safer drivers compared to men and young drivers.
More companies specialising for the female market are advertising heavily, these include Sheilas wheels and Diamond.
Like any insurance provider they offer different policies depending what you are looking to get covered, they have the usual third party options and fully comprehensive. But some now offer other add on cover options including personal belongings, handbag cover and counselling if you are involved in an accident.
The amount you will pay for your policy will be dependant on your car, age and if you have previously claimed on your policy.
A car insurance expert comments it is about time insurers offered women a better deal, if stats clearly show they are least likely to be involved in a motor vehicle accident they should reap the rewards and pay lower premiums.
