The insurance provider NFU Mutual has just been awarded best car insurer for the third consecutive year by the readers of Auto Express magazine.
The survey was made up of more than 32,000 readers who were given forty-five insurance providers and were asked to rate the companies for: communication, value for money, helpfulness and general performance.
As well as being the top company overall NFU Mutual had come first in communication and helpfulness. A spokesperson for NFU Mutual said the company was “delighted to have achieved our hat tick” and said customers valued “personal service, both at the time of purchase and beyond.”
Meanwhile, drivers who personalise their cars are being advised that their additional accessories may not be covered in their insurance policies. Items include LCD monitors and DVD players, consumers are advised to consult with their insurers in order to make sure any additions they add to their vehicles are covered and if not to find out how much the additional add on’s could affect your premiums.
