The health and care company BUPA have revelled they are set to ask over 35,000 patients in the UK how they found their treatment.
BUPA have opted for the Picker Institute to undertake the survey, the Picker Institute is a highly regarded name in the health field. They have 20 plus years of expertise in patient’s experiences.
The survey is set to be the first of its kind. It will show a fuller picture of over 200 UK hospitals through the eyes of private patients.
Dr. Rebecca Small, assistant clinical director at Bupa UK Health Insurance, said: "The Picker Institute is an extremely well respected organisation with a great deal of experience in seeking patients' views.
This survey will give us a better understanding of what really matters to people when they go into hospital and identify where improvements can be made both to their hospital experience and the quality of their care."
