According to recent reports in health insurance news, a recent poll carried out on behalf of BUPA">BUPA">BUPA private medical company, has indicated that 80% of people asked thought that the responsibility of superbug infections lies with the managers of hospitals.
This news breaks as the National Health Service is supposed to have finished the deep cleaning of all UK hospitals. If you are admitted to hospital and contract a superbug it can be fatal, health insurance will mean you are covered for such eventualities. The Prime Minister has been trying to stop the spread of infections acquired in hospitals, including the many deadly superbugs which have emerged over the last few years.
A thousand adults were surveyed by BUPA and its research agency, TNS, found that patients are strongly concerned by the presence of infections in hospitals. The rates of MRSA were considered extremely important.
