Goodhealth Worldwide expands to Dubai - 25/04/2008

Goodhealth Worldwide, a UK based private health insurance provider, has announced that it will be expanding into Dubai.
The expansion, which will hose the company's second office, will accommodate the business' growth following its acquisition by Aetna Company a US based, healthcare benefits company, last year.
The move will also allow the health insurer to continue in on, with their provision of insurance to its 55,000 policy holders in 100 countries worldwide.
Goodhealth will be located in the Dubai Outsource Zone, the world's first Free Zone dedicated to the outsourcing and off shoring industry.
The presence of the health insurer, being established in the Dubai Outsource Zone has been hailed by company executives, as a vital step in the growth and development of Goodhealth and also a core component in an aggressive business plan, in which the company broadening its global ambitions.
Andrew Apps, Goodhealth's sales and business manager, spoke about how the health insurer, will implement its move into Dubai. He said: "There are two ways of doing this. You can either do what we and several others have done and get a fronting carrier which is simply providing the legal framework for us to work down there. The other way is to have a partner."
