It now may be more important than ever for employers to consider their employee’s health a new study has discovered. The survey carried out for the Business Action on Health taskforce shows that at least 8 out of 10 workers (83%) say employer’s attitudes towards health are important when making a decision on a job.

Many employers are starting to take note on the importance of health and wellbeing in the work place, with an estimated 7 in 10 business taking action on trying to improve their employee’s health and well being.

It can also be suggested that working in an environment that takes into consideration the well being of its employee’s could lower health insurance premiums for any one with cover.

The results of the survey will help go towards promoting a new suite of practical recourses which aim to help employers take action to help improve the health and well being of their staff.
