Health experts from the association of British Hujjaj, (ABH) have expressed their concern about the safety of 25,000 British hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
In the week to come, these hajj pilgrims will be joining close to 2 million people from the world over.
The health insurance concerns that the experts have expressed, are with regards to those people who have not been vaccinated against swine flu.
There has been a growing concern about high risk groups who will be travelling to Mecca this year.
This group includes pregnant women, children below the age of 12 and elderly people above the age of 65. The Saudi Arabian government as well as the world health organisation, have advised a vaccination before travel.
There are many from the high risk category that the ABH are very sceptical about. These includes people who are diagnosed with chronic illnesses.
The experts from ABH have advised travellers to be prepared for screenings that will be happening at all ports and entryways to Saudi Arabia.
Any pilgrim suspected of having swine flu will be quarantined temporarily. Those who are diagnosed positive will be lead to treatment and isolation.
