New product from Halifax Home Insurance - 12/06/2008

Following recent reports that many homeowners do not bother to switch when their home insurance is up for renewal, Halifax has launched a new building and contents cover which rewards customers for being loyal.
The company claimed that their newly developed product offers long term price cuts and other rewards for people who switch to and remain with Halifax.
Halifax say that customers who take up the offer will benefit from up to 30 per cent no claims discount and will save on average £127 annually off their building and contents cover. They will also receive £50 each year as a thank you for remaining with Halifax.
Halifax believe that they are unique in offering this kind of thank you every year to loyal customers.
“Other insurers offer discounts and incentives to tempt customers in, but we are the only insurer to reward customers for their loyalty year after year with a GBP50 thank you,” says Sarah Cawx, head of marketing for Halifax Home Insurance.
She added that Halifax “developed this offer because customers have told us they feel they should be rewarded for their loyalty to their insurer.”
Responding to these kind of market demands prompted Halifax to introduce the new product as they say they like to remain ahead of the game and are always customer focused.
