The US based research group CFI has launched its first UK national customer satisfaction survey for home insurance. The average customer satisfaction rating came out at around 77 points a little below our American counterparts who averaged out at around 80 points.
Zurich came out n top of the British Insurers with a score of 79, compared with the UKs largest company Norwich union which only scored 69 points, 8 points below the industry average. The rest of the customer satisfaction survey showed that the Churchill Group followed Zurich closely with 78 and Direct Line at 76. The combined CSI score for the Direct Line and Churchill Group is 77, positioning it in second place. Royal and Sun Alliance, which trades under the More Th>n brand, is at 74, 5 points ahead of Norwich Union.
This new customer satisfaction showed that insurance companies have a little way to go to better their American counter parts.
