According to a new research project heralded by UKmedix news, obesity puts you in greater danger of life threatening circumstances and accidents.
This in turn can lead you to be treated at a hospital, inversely increasing the life insurance premiums you pay.
According to the research conducted by a leading life care institute, obese individuals were at least close to 3/4th times more susceptible to accidents and thus just as likely to undergo treatment at a hospital and need surgical procedures.
This has not been the first study conducted to indicate such findings.
Previous studies have been conducted by UKmedix confirming that obese people are likely to injure them selves drastically and suffer serious injuries and health problems because of exertion while they carry out everyday tasks.
This is true especially in the case of the obese elderly.
While people with regular weight and body mass are likely to fall less hard and pick themselves back up immediately.
Even in the case of surgical processes and automobile accidents, obese people are likely to suffer greater degrees of damage compared to slim people.
UKmedix goes further to claim, that this implies an added level of danger that obese people have to face, along with obesity related illnesses and disorders.
