A leading insurance company has informed its customers that it pays to purchase travel insurance and prepare in advance before going on half term vacations. It has advised its customers and travelers in general that it pays to be well prepared especially before travelling to a different country.
The head of travel services at the company said that it could be very stressful for travelers to wait until the last minute. It was also pointed that minor things such as exchanging foreign currency even at the last minute can be fairly stressful. Not just this, exchanging foreign currencies earlier, would ensure that travelers get the most competitive exchange rates.
But she reiterated and drove home the point again about travel insurance, urging travelers not to wait until the eleventh hour to buy travel insurance. This comes as no surprise as close to a third of all British travelers either buy cheap insurance at the last minute or forego it completely.
With the half term holiday seasons coming, she says that it is a good time to relax and unwind. However, those travelers who leave their preparations for the last minute would be creating unnecessary stress for themselves especially for trips abroad.
