Specialist travel insurance has been launched which includes cover for pre-existing medical conditions. Heath Lambert has joined forced with Dolmen Insurance Brokers in Ireland to offer these policies.
Initially the product will be launched at Dolmen’s Dublin office, shortly afterwards it will become available at the network of 160 sub-agents throughout Ireland.
Heath Lambert has been offering travel insurance cover to people with various pre-existing medical conditions for some times. This new product is available for worldwide or European travel and for annual or single policies, there is no upper age limit.
Any existing medical conditions will be considered by the insurer and medical screening will not be necessary.
Associate director of Dolmen, James Burke said: “I expect there to be a great deal of interest in this facility, and am anticipating enquiries from new brokers across Ireland who are keen to join this network. I am delighted that we have been able to work with such a trusted name in the medical insurance sector to provide a solution for those who find their travel plans hampered by their medical conditions.”
