Free travel insurance is among the offers included in HSBC 2008 Student Service, the bank has announced.
It made the announcement following its findings that London is the most expensive city for students.
Other offers contained in the Student Service are an interest-free overdraft of up to £2,000 and an optional £500 credit card.
London topped the most expensive cities list as it was found that students pay up to £100 or more a week in rent in shared accommodation in areas with most students.
Plymouth came second with £63 per week in rent, while Birmingham and Nottingham shared the third place with £60 each.
Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Lancashire, Sheffield and Northumbria all had an average of £50 per week in rent.
HSBC youth manager, Lucy Payne said rising costs of rent, food and transport were enough to make students watch their costs of living as they decide on what and where to study.
