Five persons are facing charges relating to insurance claims made against a coach company, it has been reported.
The people, Graham Mahendar Singh, 53, Roy Lakanveer Singh, 19, Niramella Singh, 49, Tony Singh, 21 and Andrew Singh, 25, were charged with conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to commit perjury.
The accused persons, according to reports, are expected to appear before Trafford magistrates next week.
In a separate development it has been reported that travel insurance policies are increasingly gaining popularity amongst American travellers as people continue to lose their jobs.
This is because many of the policies offer refunds to travellers who suddenly get laid off before their scheduled trip on a vacation.
A report said that the policies cost a little more, depending the risk factors considered.
While layoff insurance may be included in most basic travel policies, the features may be restricted to employees that have been with their companies for a reasonable period of the time.
The length of time could vary from one to three years.
