It has been alleged that British travellers are not likely to cancel their travel plans despite the potential strike by British airways workers.
The strike is being called a Christmas time strike and British travellers will not be completely put off by it, according to insurers.
A spokesperson for the association for independent tour operators, said that many people may not want to travel with BA in the future.
This year however, nothing will deter British travellers from making their travel plans. Many of them will still travel to various destinations for their holidays this year.
The spokesperson also said that people are likely to get flustered with the fact that if they travel with BA, there is a higher chance of a strike.
Travellers are likely to face a number of pressures as a result of airlines that go on strike.
If you are going for a Christmas break this year, insurers have recommended that you get travel insurance.
If you take more breaks annually, it is suggested that you get annual holiday insurance as a measure of safety in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
