If you or someone covered by your policy falls ill seek medical treatment as a priority but contact your insurer as soon as possible. Depending on the size of your bill, you may be required to pay out of your own money at first and claim the costs back later. If the bill comes to a large amount it can be charged to your insurer directly. Keep a copy of all receipts and bills.
