What is a ‘pre-existing medical condition’?

This is any medical condition you know about or have had treated prior to taking out the travel insurance.  You will most likely be asked to declare any pre-existing illnesses by your insurer. It is also probably a good idea to inform your insurer if any condition worsens prior to travelling.
