The British International Motor Show in setting up an online confession for UK motorists to anonymously email about some of the outrageous feats they attempt while driving. From the make-up artists who accidentally streak bright red lipstick across their face when they realise the lights have changed and now pray the next lights will turn red so they can amend the catastrophe they have caused to the hungry-hippo van drivers who simply can't wait until they get to their destination to tuck into their foot long sub-sandwich with all the trimmings even though they are fully aware of the drip, drip, dripping barbecue sauce that's turning their shirt into a work of sauce-art!
The question is; what will this information be used for? On the surface it does make for an amusing read however the implications for car and van drivers alike may prove daunting. Will the information when collated show van drivers to be threat to the rest of UK drivers, or will it highlight that their dodgy driving skills when attempting to balance that extra large kebab while making a 3 point turn increases the risk of an accident therefore their van insurance premiums need to be increased to account for such behaviour?
Regardless of what the information is going to be used for, it does hint at highlighting some of UK’s supposedly innocent driving blunders that can potentially lead to serious accidents.
