A man driving a minivan has reportedly hit a building with his vehicle.
The man allegedly admitted suffering headaches and occasional blackouts and may have been under this influence when the incident occurred.
An eyewitness claimed he saw the silver minivan travelling at about 35 miles per hour crash into the building housing a Pizza office.
After the incident the eyewitness added that he spoke to the driver, who claimed he had no licence and wanted to avoid being seen by the police.
But he said he dialled 911, although the man left before police arrived.
“He said that he had no licence and he needed to get out of here,” explained the eyewitness.
The van driver was, however, found and arrested soon after, several blocks from where the incident took place.
In addition to having no licence, police discovered he had no van insurance.
Speaking to paramedics the van driver said he suffers from headaches and occasional blackout.
Meanwhile, the police have cited and released him for driving while suspended, having no insurance cover for the van and for hit and run.
