Thieves have ruined Christmas for a family by breaking into their van and stealing contents and prizes worth £500.

The owners of the van were a young couple, and the parents of three. They had purchased Christmas presents for their children and other members of their family.

The couple stored the presents in their van before the big day because they wanted to ensure that the children did not get a glimpse of their presents before the celebrations.

However, over night, thieves made away with the contents in their van. It is alleged that they cut through the central locking system of the vehicle. They managed to get to the contents inside the van and took nearly everything. The irony of the situation was that the mother of the children had just finished her Christmas shopping.

The sole item that was not stolen from the van was a brand new bike that was strapped to the van. The father of the children said that the thieves had ruined their Christmas celebrations and that he was very disgusted.

The family hope that their van insurance will pay for the disaster.
